Our Journey
Our journey began in 1990 with a small welding electrode unit named Mentrode in Palakkad, Kerala, under the leadership of Mr. V. A. Menon, who believed that industrial progress is built on uncompromising quality and technical integrity.
Mentrode began by making E6013 electrodes for repair and maintenance work. After Mr. Menon's passing, V.A.M Manufacturing Concerns was established as a tribute to him, carrying forward his values as a modern manufacturing enterprise.
In 2025 we commissioned a newly expanded facility, raising annual capacity to 1,500 MT. The expansion let us widen our range into low-alloy, stainless and hardfacing electrodes, enter specialised markets and export to international clients.
